June 27th

Our SS called late this afternoon and had very exciting news for us! I just have to tell everyone. Final walk through booked for 9am Thursday 24th July and completion booked for 9am Thursday 31st July. Yes, we plan to get the keys so champagne will be flowing by lunchtime. I think we deserve it after the long journey! I have updates the timeline on the balance of things to be done and will update as they come to fruition. 

Electricians in today and completed except for outdoor lights. The tiler, still there and working very slowly but surely is meant to complete tomorrow. Carpenter due tomorrow. 

June 20th

A slow week this week with the tilers taking forever and now at a full stop with no work by them today. Even Clarendon is concerned. Our SS has done a fantastic job pushing things through and generally being on top of things whilst he still has 29 properties to look after. Sad we will lose him on Tuesday. Kitchen and bathroom caesarstone benchtops installed today. They look great. Painters now 85% complete.

Tiling in full swing and looking good. Painters in doing first coats, Boral in to check Gyprock finish. Kitchen people have measured bench tops, garage is door on. Alfresco tiles look good too. A busy place now.

We need to start looking at lights, landscaping cost breakdowns, organising for Crystal Pools  www.crystalpools.com.au to come in and start their work. Plan to have a pool for Christmas! Thank you to all the other bloggers whose sites are invaluable. 

 

 

 

 

June 6th

Well another productive week. Kitchen and bathrooms starting to look like real rooms. The garage door and electrical fitting now in and the tiler started today. I didn’t realise the floor was covered in sand before tiling started. They are due to start on the alfresco on Saturday. ImageImageImageImage
