The slab was poured on 4th November and the plumbing is in now including the 9500 ltr water tank. The tank has been put in too low so a riser has been added. A bit of a mess really. Disappointing that after asking Clarendon initially prior to the build that the retaining walls and even the pool could be completed. But no they weren’t interested. So now the SS has said that not only had they noted that the excavators had cut into the western boundary too close to the existing neighbours fence, the eastern boundary now needs doing, due to the access issue for the builders. Whats more disappointing, the SS stated that it better not to have the frame exposed to the elements over Christmas shutdown. we now see a house (St Ives) being built. Slab poured 3wks after ours and 10th Dec their frame is going up. So does that mean the other house is going to have a substandard frame after Christmas or are we just being pushed to one side. Disappointing behaviour from Clarendon so early on. feeling very cheated! Nothing more will be done until 14th January when the frames are supposedly arriving.
