January 23rd

We drove past tonight and saw the upstairs frame mostly on. Windows are starting to go in. They have also agreed to do a BV for a cat/pet door which the carpenters will do through the brickwork in the laundry.

January 20th

The window frames were delivered today and additional joists to compete the gap between ground and first floor. Starting to take shape. The ground floor frame is complete. The SS called to say a crane will be putting the upstairs frame in place on Thursday this week, weather dependent of course. I assume the rest of the frame will be delivered tomorrow.

January 16th

Eastern wall from the back garden

After the shut down over Christmas we have built the eastern retaining wall at Clarendon’s request true to OH&S issues on site. This is due to the fall on the land. So we took the opportunity to dig a hole for the pool and use that fill to back fill the new wall between the new houses. The frame arrived on Tuesday 14th and they have been working on site ever since through the fierce heat this week.
