We are systems GO!

We had an issue with that tree again. The engineer and the arborist didn’t agree with the weight and volume on the newly laid driveway slab with drain holes every square metre to feed the tree roots. So back into council we went with a section 961A, with the aim to defer the driveway build until after the build. Council were great. They reviewed carefully and quickly and we have been approved to build the driveway post build.

All documents signed and plans checked, land pegged and bank approval. We anticipate the slab being poured mid October. We are even looking forward to the PortaLoo to arrive! Sad isn’t it. But we know are all about to start then that happens!

Construction Certificate Issued

Well good positive steps forward in the last few weeks. We now have a construction certificate which allows us to build. You would have thought that an approved DA would have automatically issued this, but no, more money spent to move forward. We now wait for loan construction loan number from the bank, the land to be pegged and the driveway to be completed first before our new home commences. Well done Clarendon for moving on this so quickly.
